Project Objective

This skills development and work-placement program, initiated by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, sought to enable the residents of Lagos State with employment opportunities, wealth creation and tackle unemployment through a large-scale skills development and industry-linkage intervention

Program Design & Structure

The delivery model on this project was primarily through working with existing TVET institutions across Lagos State, whereby, Arc Skills’ was mandated to oversee the upgrade of infrastructural, personnel and training content capacity to ensure that these institutions had the capability to deliver on the large numbers of trainees involved.
Key components of the program were therefore:
·Training curriculum development and customisation
·Centre capacity audits and recommendations for upgrade
·Training of Trainers
·Leadership of industry-engagement initiatives to create work/employment pathways for graduates
